Grounds Keeper, Part-Time Seasonal
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Capacity to safely operate potentially dangerous grounds and other equipment
- Willingness to experience occasional exposure to hazardous work conditions (involving noise, fumes, heights, slippery surfaces, vibrations, moving parts, etc.) and moderate exposure to dust, grease, motor fuels, insects, temperature changes, inadequate lighting, inclement weather, etc.
- Must possess a valid Utah drivers license
- Performs planting, pruning, and application of chemicals to trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and ornamental flowers
- Performs installation, maintenance, operation, and repair of irrigation water sprinkler system; repairs broken mains, laterals, valves, heads and filters; programs controllers and monitors water usage; winterizes sprinkler systems to avoid freezing; flushes watering systems in spring
- Performs installation, care, and maintenance of lawn; performs grounds preparation, seeding, sodding, mowing, watering, application of chemicals, and aeration of turf; operates, cleans, and stores all landscape equipment such as tractor, lawn mowers
- Performs other related duties as required
