UTAH COLLEGE OF APPLIED TECHNOLOGY (UCAT)
Davis Applied Technology College is a member institution of UCAT that operates under the direction of the College Board of Directors, UCAT Board of Trustees, and the Utah State Board of Regents. The mission of UCAT is to provide market-driven applied technology education to secondary and adult students that meets the demand of Utah employers for technically skilled workers. This is accomplished through competency-based education and training programs which may be long-term, short-term, apprenticeship, or custom fit for individual employers.
Many of the programs are offered in an open-entry, open-exit format providing flexibility for students and employers. Students are assisted in acquiring the basic skills necessary to succeed in these technical training programs. UCAT prepares students to enter, re-enter, upgrade, or advance in the workplace which contributes to economic development and improves the quality of life for Utah citizens.
