What is a Student Ambassador:

Student Ambassadors will represent DATC at community events and activities.  They will assist DATC staff in working with potential students, hosting dignitaries at college events, presenting information to high school students, and engaging in other activities with the public or potential students.

Why be a Student Ambassador:

Being a Student Ambassador is fun and students can earn free tuition and prizes.  Ambassadors will receive a discount at the DATC bookstore and special recognition at graduation.  Student Ambassadors will have opportunities to meet and network with industry professionals and community leaders, which could lead to job opportunities.  Being a Student Ambassador is experience that would be beneficial on a resume.

How do I become a Student Ambassador:

You may apply by filling out the form below. Please provide a letter of recommendation from your instructor.

Applications will be considered on a quarterly basis and selected applicants will be interviewed. If selected, you will be required to participate in training to learn about DATC programs and policies. (You may re-apply quarterly.)

If you have questions about the Student Ambassador program please contact Allen Turner at (801) 593-2399 or Kevin Cummings at (801) 593-2345
