BSA Merit Badge Offerings

Davis Applied Technology College is proud to offer Boy Scouts of America merit badge classes.
We invite scout troops to schedule a time to earn merit badges in our $85 million lab by calling our instructors directly (see information below).
DATC currently offers the following merit badge classes:

Composite Materials
This is one of the fastest growing areas of manufacturing in Utah. Everything from golf clubs to the F-22 Raptor is made from composite materials. Learn about carbon fiber, fiberglass materials and the exciting Skywalker flying vehicle.

Drafting
Learn about the tools of drafting, including 3D computer software such as Auto-Cad and Inventor. Practice creating designs for buildings, mechanical parts or electrical circuits.

Entrepreneurship
Have you ever wanted to own your own business? Would you like to learn how to design a business plan, set goals and evaluate a market? Then the entrepreneurship Merit Badge is for you. This is a fun class taught by business professionals.
