Welcome to the Davis Business Alliance (DBA) of Davis Applied Technology College, where the Davis area's finest industry and academic minds work together to develop innovative approaches to new businesses and stimulate economic growth.
Entrepreneurs need the right support from those they can trust to provide them advice and point them in the right direction. The Davis Business Alliance provides this support. Our focus is to establish a center where new and existing businesses can find free counseling, training and specialized support for their particular needs.
RESOURCES AVAILABLE
Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
The SBDC is designed to help small businesses thrive and grow through professional business counseling and classes. The SBDC is part of a network of centers sponsored by the Small Business Administration. The counseling is provided free of charge.
FastTrac Course
The FastTrac programs have assisted over 200,000 people across the country. With programs designed for entrepreneurs and new and existing businesses, this program is here to help you throughout your business journey. www.fasttrac.org or (801) 593-2100
Service Corp of Retired Executives (SCORE)
SCORE is a volunteer program of retired executives from all industries and regions. They provide free, individual counseling services and training to assist owners and managers in identifying basic business problems, determining their causes, and finding solutions. (801) 629-8613
Utah Bid Development Solutions (UBiDS)
UBiDS assists companies by educating, training, qualifying, and making applications for obtaining State and Federal product and service contracts, particularly as they relate to Hill Air Force Base. This effort is accomplished in part through working together with a Utah funded service from the Governor's Office of Economic Development. (801) 593-2250

e-Station - Grow Utah Ventures
Grow Utah Ventures provides the funds, tools, and resources to help entrepreneurs find success. The e-Station's exclusive space is reserved for the best and most promising businesses and entrepreneurs. These businesses take advantage of affordable lease space, basic services, meeting rooms, and mentors and coaches for young entrepreneurs until they become self-sustaining. www.growutahventures.com
