This program prepares students for a career in the emerging energy industry. In addition to technical skills, students will develop basic industrial math, computer training, technical writing, and safety skills essential to working in the energy field.

Students will complete one of three technical skill tracks in Energy Management, Green Construction or Renewable Energy Transmission. The Energy Management track prepares students to perform industrial, commercial, and residential energy audits as well as energy conservation applications, including weatherization. The Green Construction track prepares students to install solar panels, solar thermal water systems, HVAC systems and teaches retrofitting techniques as well as hazardous materials handling and removal. The Renewable Energy Transmission track focuses on the manufacturing of green/energy efficient related composites products.
