


In the first year of this program, students receive on-the-job site training by plumbing homes built by construction trades classes at Davis School District high schools. Students will learn pipefitting, plan reading, job site layouts, fixtures hookup, water piping, drainage piping, finish plumbing and other related skills.
An apprenticeship is a contract between an employee and an employer. To be an apprentice in Utah, you must be sponsored by an approved Plumbing contractor and hold an apprentice license from the State of Utah.
