The Dental Office program teaches students the technical skills and knowledge that are necessary for entry-level employment in the business of the dental office. This program prepares students to handle duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, handling collections, marketing the practice, preparing insurance claims, working with patient accounts, researching and following up on insurance claims, answering questions about payments, resubmitting insurance claims for payment, preparing accounts for statements, handling patient charts, controlling inventory, managing the office, and administering finances. Upon completion of this program, students will be awarded a State Radiology Certificate, CPR and HIPAA Certificate.
