Nurse Assistant

This program trains high school and adult students to become certified nursing assistants. Once certified, students may gain employment in many healthcare areas including hospitals, long-term care facilities, in-home care, physical therapy, and doctors' offices. Students are involved in personal care, recording vital signs, measuring height and weight, and restorative services. They care for cognitively impaired residents and work with mental health issues. They are also trained in CPR.
