Nail Technician

As a nail technician, you will be working in a beauty salon or performing customer service such as manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements. This course provides training in principles of proper infection control and sanitation, basic nail technology, and understanding chemicals used in artificial enhancements. Before students are eligible to take the state licensure test, they must complete 300 hours of training in Nail Technology. At the end of the 300 hours, students will be prepared to take the state exam. Students will be required to purchase a nail technician kit, books, smock, and supplemental kits.
