English as a Second Language
The Davis School District offers both day and night English as a Second Language classes on the DATC campus. English as a Second Language consists of beginning to advanced English grammar, writing, reading, and GED preparation for non-native speakers of English. Students must register and test before starting classes (information below).
Tuition
Residents: $50.00 per semester (plus textbooks)
Non-Residents: $30.00 per week (plus textbooks)
Schedule
Full-time enrollment is 22 hours per week Students are required to take a minimum of two classes per week and between one and four classes per day (depending on placement level and class availability). Students are required to take a minimum of two classes per week. All testing is on Fridays at 9:00 a.m. in Portable 5. Students who test on these dates may begin classes immediately.
