April Hendrix

April Hendrix always had a passion for art. She knew that to be satisfied in a career, she would need to incorporate her creative skills into a profession. April found her niche and enrolled in the Web and Media Technology program at the Davis Applied Technology College. The graphic design program provided her on-the-job training to gain insight into the profession, preparing her for work in the real world.

Through her experience in the program, April had the opportunity of starting her own freelance business with immediate clientele. She was able to gain even more valuable experience, which lead her to an offer working for Commerce CRG, the largest commercial real estate company in Utah, as a graphic designer. She plans to continue working with Commerce CRG and is working on her own e-commerce website. April enthusiastically states, "The program gave me the doorway to accomplish my goals at the rate I wanted to. Now I am doing what I always wanted to do."
