Welcome to the 3rd Annual Women's Resource Expo being held at Davis Applied Technology College on Saturday, May 22, 2010. The day will be filled with community resources, workshops, massages, facials, prize drawings and much more. (However, no retail sales will occur at this event.)

Amanda Dickson, KSL Radio's morning show cohost and author, will be our keynote speaker. She will be speaking about goal setting and how she was able to become so successful.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

12:00 pm - Amanda Dickson

Amanda Dickson co-hosts Utah's #1 rated morning show, "Utah's Morning News with Grant and Amanda," on KSL Newsradio. Amanda also hosts the award winning program "A Woman's View," heard Sunday mornings on KSL.

Amanda earned her B.A. in English and her Juris Doctorate at the University of Utah. She has also taught Mass Communication Law at the U, becoming a favorite professor among the students.

Amanda is a much sought-after speaker, inspiring and motivating groups and emceeing events for schools and non-profit organizations. She published her first book in the fall of 2007, Wake Up to a Happier Life. Her new book, Change It Up, is due out October 14th.

Amanda is married and the step-mother of three children, Cameron 16, Ashley 19 and Laurel 20. She is also the indulgent mother of two children, Ethan age 4 and Aiden age 2. Her boundless energy, infectious laugh and passion for life have made her one of Utah's most recognized and beloved personalities.
